  • I was strolling down Main Street and saw a cozy looking tea store. I crossed my fingers hoping they’d have something for me to grab for dinner as it was getting late and I was hungry. I walked into another time and place. The Proprietoress was something out of a favorite story book. She has created a truly magical place I’ve never experienced at any other venue. She is compassionate, empathetic and a fellow book worm. She has clearly put great thought into every detail of this establishment including the rose or thorn choices. Selecting a seat that “made me comfortable” and a cup of that “made me smile” felt very much like a Harry Potter Sorting Hat experience. All of this, and I haven’t even mentioned how delectable the apricot chicken salad luncheon plate (available at dinner) was. The starter and dessert change seasonally, which I absolutely love! How fun it is to enjoy a chef’s choice surprise. I’m terribly sad that 6 hours away or this would be a daily haunt. This is a little spot of sunshine a tiny piece of paradise. I couldn’t be more grateful for the way I passed my Friday evening. They may have to physically push me out of here - it’s past closing time!

  • This place is awesome! Stopped in while my fiancee and i were on a day trip, and we loved it! The atmosphere is very cute and welcomeing! The staff was nothing but lovely, and we also loved our food! Everything we had to eat and drink was wonderful. The price of what we got was very reasonable as well. I left feeling like i wished that this place was close to my home! I would spend my time here all the time if i could! It seems like a gem for small events, or even just to relax and read while you enjoy. Truely a lovely place. I am so glad we stopped in. Thank you all so much!!

  • What a gem! I’ve come twice now for the traditional high tea. All the food has been so yummy. And the crazy part is, historically, I pretty much hate tea.. and I love so many teas here! So Apothica may single-handedly be turning me into a tea person! Some of my faves- Pistachio-you-a-question, chocolate rum, the Paris, and peach matcha. Also I highly recommend coming hungry! There’s more food than you think, plus with all the teas, I’m very full by the end! The owner has paid attention to so many little details. I love it and will continue to bring friends and family here!

  • Apothica Tea was very pleasant. It has a wonderful atmosphere. Almost every table is near shelves decorated in different themes. Trellises decorated with vines and a water feature enhance the vibe. There is another room that has a pleasant more informal sitting area near a decorative fireplace. There is also a shelf filled with games and many tables available for players. The food was excellent and served in a timely manner. There was an extremely large selection of tea. We were encouraged to look around and choose our tea cup from the many beautifully displayed. The tea ordered delightfully smelled like a rose. Service was good. The only fallback was that when we asked the server to explain what some particular dishes were made of, she incorrectly described them. This could be a problem if anyone had food sensitivities. Overall, I highly recommend Apothica Teas and look forward to returning again.

  • My oldest friend and I have dedicated Apothica Teas as the place to celebrate each of our birthdays with Afternoon Tea because it truly is that special. Laura, the owner, is almost always on site, making sure that everyone is taken care of and has a wonderful experience, while her staff are personable, helpful, knowledgeable and kind. The incredible bakers/chefs create the most spectacular foods with forward-thinking flavor profiles. They are always challenging themselves to provide the most distinguished foodie an experience he/she won't forget. The teas are delicious and abundant, with multiple pots served if desired - and the triple-layer display of food, from finger sandwiches and mini hot savories to scones and incredible pastries, it is never a disappointment. Come out and support this local business whenever you're able.

  • went here for the first time with my sister. we didn’t know much about tea and they were so helpful! they helped us pick our flavors and we were both extremely impressed! this was my first time actually having a loose leaf tea, and it was delicious! i added cream, sugar, and honey to mine and it was fabulous! i loved getting to choose my own tea cup to drink out of, and for $6, you get a tea pot full of your choice of tea. i was able to drink 2 cups and still had tea left over to bring home! the prices are great! i did not get a chance to try the food because we came too late, but we will for sure be back!!

  • I was beyond delighted with every aspect of my first visit. As someone who lived in England and appreciates proper tea, this is a treasured find and one of my new favorite places after one visit. The owner and staff are beyond delightful. The food is amazing! Literally the best scone I've had on this continent. Real clotted cream is legit. The atmosphere is chill and fun. My words don't do it justice, you got to check it out for yourself.

  • Came here to celebrate our friend’s graduations & let me say, this place is truly a gem! All of the staff were extremely friendly, attentive, and quick service. They helped us to choose our flavors, checked in for refills, and overall made our celebration the best. The scones are soooo tasty, especially with the cherry jam (multiple flavors to choose from)! My favorite tea was #36 Iron Goddess of Mercy (Oolong Tea) and #42.1 Panic a Little Bit (Chai Blend). The aesthetic overall is so stunning! And you get to choose your own teacup from their collection - and they have some awesome choices lol. Will definitely be coming back
